The Bailey family have been farming in Nanpantan, Loughborough since 1924.

Beginning as diary farmers, then moving into arable: Richard is the third generation of Baileys to farm in Nanpantan.

In 1994, Richard and his mother, Pat, moved up to Bawdon Lodge Farm (pronounced Bor-don).

In 2012, after many years of hard work; Pat hung up her wellies and retired, leaving Richard and wife Lynn to manage the business, expertly supervised by their daughter Annabelle.

In late 2012, Bawdon Lodge Farm became a certificated location with The Caravan and Motorhome Club.

Set in 30 acres of ground consisting of farm buildings and natural walks with a stunning backdrop of fields and woodland, including Beacon Hill in the distance, and a dairy farm just across the road.

Richard and Lynn then launched Bawdon Lodge Events Ltd providing the opportunity for events to take place at the farm so that clients and their guests may delight in this beautiful part of the Charnwood Forest.

The countryside views coupled with a professional & supportive events team and great accessibility provide the perfect blank canvas for tipi and marquee weddings & events.
